Promoting Dignity, Hygiene, and Well-Being for Displaced Children
Children affected by conflict and displacement often face significant challenges in accessing basic necessities, including personal hygiene products, appropriate footwear, and other essential items required for their daily well-being.
Recognizing these challenges, Winner Kids Worldwide Foundation (WIKIF) carried out a humanitarian support activity on November 8, 2025, at Ndongo Government Primary School in Buea, South-West Region, Cameroon.
Following the identification of children in need, WIKIF provided essential items to support their personal hygiene, comfort, and daily well-being. The items distributed included toothpaste, toothbrushes, and a pair of shoes for each supported child, helping address some of the basic needs experienced by children displaced by the ongoing crisis in Cameroon’s North-West and South-West Regions.
This intervention reflected WIKIF’s commitment to identifying vulnerable children within affected communities and responding to their needs through practical, community-based assistance.
Small Acts of Kindness, Meaningful Impact
Access to basic hygiene products helps children develop healthy personal care habits, while appropriate footwear supports their comfort and participation in everyday activities, including attending school.
For children already experiencing the difficulties associated with displacement, receiving these essential items can provide encouragement and reassurance that their needs matter and that their community has not forgotten them.
Through this initiative, WIKIF continued its efforts to promote child welfare, protect dignity, and improve the living conditions of vulnerable children affected by conflict and displacement.
WIKIF’s Commitment to Vulnerable Children
At Winner Kids Worldwide Foundation, we believe that every child deserves access to essential resources, a safe and supportive environment, and the opportunity to grow with dignity.
Our work focuses on supporting vulnerable and internally displaced children through educational assistance, nutritional support, basic necessities, and community inclusion.
However, the needs of displaced children remain considerable. Continued collaboration with donors, volunteers, community leaders, and humanitarian partners is essential to ensuring that more children receive the support they need.
